Dead E1 Rokr!!! What To Do??
 

Hello everobody,
I have a problem after trying to unlock the E1 ROKR. The thing is that I alrady unlocked this phone before but this time something went wrong. Everything seemed to work fine when I was doing the unlock.
1st log:

Phone doesn't even pc flash!!! nothing works for it I even tried to write a bootloader again (found on Motomodders.com). I even the backup of the flash but "Extended sector erase error code is A0" when i tried to restore it.
Please Help me. What should I do?

you read anything about unlocking this phone before you started?

first you connect tp, then connect battery, hit search..
then disconnect tp, and hit unlock..
20 seconds later, the phone is unlocked.

unfortunately you screwed up, big time.

the first time, you connected the tp too late.

the second time, it wasnt connected at all..

then you panicked and this is where you should have asked for help.

ok but there is still hope. maybe.

unfortunately, you try E398 pds repair, then you just went ahead and decided that the bootloader needs to be replaced heh..

the good thing is since its a RSA protected bootloader and you didnt actually erase anything.. cause you never properly got the tp working.. :)

you can probably fix it..

here is what you do..

you connect the TP to ground..

you hook up the battery...

you push search..

if you see

Searching for phone... found S Blank Neptune LTE, getting test interface... interface not found


this phone can be fixed by correct FULL_FLASH file.

dont forget to take the tp off before you flash.
also might want to check overwrite boot file since you messed at up too.

Great... So no way to fix that phone for a couple more weeks.
Well I'm just wondering why making unlock solution and not making repair solution in Case something goes wrong?:confused:
Is there anything else I can try to fix that, It got to have a solution?

when you tried to repair pds with e398 it messed up the phone..
it does warn you that using other models can be really bad.



try this, restore the security area with the first pds that has the real imei number..

you probably killed it with the E398 boot loader..

Well I read different places with people converting E1 to E398 or reverse...
So I tough maybe that was the same. well I guess I was wrong....

The only option that works is the repair PDS option, I successfully restore one of the old PDS backup:

I did PDS repair on E1 with smartmoto yesterday and it worked!!! who said it's not supported ?! :D

When you doing TP Method, are you spose to hook it up to the Smart-Clip Box? or directly to the computer when you do the unlocking? Or are you spose to get the Neptune msg. and then unconnect the USB from the computer and move it to the smart-clip and then do the unlocking?

Phone must be connected to PC via Smart-Clip...
