E770 during unlock process error A0 now phone not work help!! - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I try to unlock a E770v during the unlock process i get this error message. Now Phone dont work only start up i see Vodafone logo and go off. i try to flash by RSD light but get also error any idea. Pleas help

Hello no i try to unlock the Phone again and i get this

If i leave the Testpoint during unlock procedur i get

Then i try to flash Bootloader from support selection i get this (with Tp connected, because if i disconnect TP afer Phone found with search i get Internal error 0001)

HI,

Maybe PDS repair and than full flash fix this problem ???

but i have to leave the TP connected duing flash process because if i disconnect after Phone found i get Internal error 0001. hmmm very strange fullflash with Tp

Maby someone from Smartclip team can give me a tip.

Hello AnToS,

Error A0 probably means that Memory chip has a lose contact, apparently got damaged during removing the shield. Try reheating it with hot air, it should help.

HI,

hmm i dont remove metall shield i drill it very carefully. I dont think that a contact broken, but i will test it. Anyway i will try pds repair with full flash or it is not usefull ??

As I see from your log files Internal error 0001 probably means that Flash chip got damaged. Try some hot air on it. It might improve connection of microchip.

You need to remove Testpoint BEFORE start unlocking procedure...

Connect cable, connect TP, Connect Battery, Press "Search Phone" and after this, disconnect TP.

Now you can use unlock function.

Yes i know that i have to remove it. But i get only internal error also as the phone was working. So i read in Forum to leave TP connectet and it works but get error A0.

So i will rehot the PCB and post results

Ps. Is there any Sw version from E770v that is not supportet like X980 Phone?

HI, now the phone is dead ;-((( after rehot the Flashchip "load error". I will use it for spare parts. I buy a new one Vodafone have this week spezial price 49 euro ;-) . Tomorror i will unlock the new one it is SW

i will be sure if its supported via Tp??
