i have a dead motorola v3x phone. it just stopped working one day without warning, and now it doesn't turn on, not even in bootloader. i would like to try testpointing the phone to see if i can repair the pds and reflash it.

can i use the smartclip smart testpoint product on a v3x. it has a convient clip for the positive (+) battery terminal. but can i get a suitable ground (-) signal through one of the two pin probes?

Smart TestPoint cable was developed for the ARGON and LTE2_ROM4 platforms, it can not be used for other phone models.
"Simple TP" suppose to be performed for the V3x phone model.
