how can i tell if a1000 is blocked?

hi, i have an a1000 which i unlocked for customer but didnt check beforehand if it rang out...........now if i put in any non 3g sim it says on screen 'call failed' then underneath 'call rejected'. if i put in my 3g sim it says unregistered sim. can anyone confirm if this means its blocked? or any other methods of checking? thanks.

Hello bkiani786,

the most simlpe way to check if phone is blocked is to insert sim-card and check if You can call!

One good way to check if it's IMEI is blocked is to chenge imei of a working phone (e.g. an old Nokia 3310) to the A1000's IMEI, and check if it still works. If it works, that IMEI is not blocked.

Of course you could also try to call an operator and ask them to check the imei.

Normally the A1000 will show a message similar to "Emergency Calls Only - Contact Customer Services"

This will show during phone start-up but also when tapping on the Telephone icon.

Hope this helps
