How to remove password lock? - GSM-Forum

Hi guys

I have an a1000 and when you power the fone on with or without sim it displays at the top of the screen "Owner, Emergency, Unlock"

When i press the owner option it says "This phone is owned by "
When i press the Emergency, it allows me to make a emergency call, but when i press Unlock, it displays the keypad and then asks for password, ive tried all the usual codes and none of them work, so i suspect it may be a combo of letters and numbers! Either way, Smart Clip doesnt unlock it....

How do i get past this password?

Please help guys

Hi, GSM International!

Go to SmartMoto > Information and the program will show you the User Code
or if this doesn't work, try to go to SmartMoto > Service and press "Master Reset" and "Master Clear".

it don't work!! this feature is not yet supported by smart moto. you can read all you want reset all, you only get the 'user code' and 'security code' reset back to factory defaults. i spent days trying to find solution .
sc_support said i'll have to wait (it had something to do with the boot-loader version of the phone).

So, would it be possible to flash the phone, and over write boot loader, and hopefully, fix this issue?

Try to flash the phone, beause this is not a problem of codes!
