No answer from SC team Error 0 / error 8c - GSM-Forum

Hello i have write 2 e-mails at [email protected] and no answer i wait and wait and wait

this problem was :

2x e1000

i start the Backup to the Phone - Smart moto tool closed !?!?!?! what that ?and i start again to play the backup on the Phone with Smart moto tool --> Backup / search phone over smart clip usb ok..

i start the mobile "error 0" comes ...

Searching Phone .... found S Flash Rainbow POG , getting interface ... interface not found ... Switching to Flash ...OK

I click Restore Phone Flash an the tool Says

Reading phone Boot version.... Error 8c

i can not flash the phone whith the firmware

i click

then restore security area an the same problem Error 8c

i have the secuity area why canot play this back? Anaother way??? Please Answer

Well it will be pretty interesting to know what is oyur computer, how do you connect smart-clip with AC power, info about how do you connect the smart-clip with Lpt port and of course I need info about OS, I see that you, motolution, you are using windows Xp. Tell me more info as well as the procedure you are doing because I made lot of phones and there was no problem.As well if you can check before making backup the bootloader of the phone it will be useful...

I have one PC for Flashing usw. without internet connection for this job. This System :

AMD 2600+
120GB
Geforce 4 TI
768MB DDR
WINXP + SP2

SMart Clip 2.14 connected over LPT1 / COmbatibility / AC Power 9V
Smart Moto Tool 1.04

Who i haved maked the Backup files from this mobiles i haved smart moto tool 1.02 make a bacvkup was not a problem.
Who i maked this:

Power an Smart clip
open Smart moto tool 1.02
Connect smart clip
Search Phone
Backup file select
restore phone flash.....

This running ok by 56% clossed the Tool i haved no clossed and i was no on this PC what that?

Oki i look with a another mobile i restart my Pc meked a backup from this Phone / restart my PC an then :

Power on Smart clip
open Smart moto tool 1.02
Connect smart clip
Search Phone
Backup file select
restore phone flash.....

This running ok by 3% clossed the Tool i haved no clossed and i was no on this PC what that?!?!?

start the mobile "error 0" comes ...

I think that there must be some little problem with this software or maybe the hardware cause I'm already still using 1.03 and works really well without any kind of problem...Why did you change soft if this update was only for W98 users??I mean this update only will "help" people with windows 98.

I will talk with them as fast as I can to see what is happening.

with other E1000 and 1.4 works 100% backup created and play backup on the Phone.

only i haved 2 mobiles with this problems Smart moto 1.2 has this problems maked and now?

@SC-Team can jump over "Reading phone Boot version.... Error 8c" ??? can you mod the software that this funk.

hello i have write new security area to the e1000 after this comes error 0 when i start the mobile
i can not restore yet the securuty area or write the backup to the mobile look this picture :

and this ist a very bad service from the Smart Clip team

Which we can do around this problem to prevent
