Member: 88701 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 381 | v3xx smart-moto i/o-error Im trying to prepare a V3XX AT&T for unlock, but cant complete the prepare cycle as I get I/O error after smartmoto cannot load boot in the prepare cycle. We using a lab grade power supply adjusted for 12V @ 1 A measured at the connector end that plugs into Smartclip. Also checked the USB V+ Smartclip output and its steady at +5V Battery full charged and replaced with external Power supply during troubleshooting After failure of the prepare cycle boot loader as you can see in the video the handset displays "Critical Error DEA1" Disconnected the display and tried to re run the process ..but the same error appears. Successfully flashed this handset with SCOUT with no errors. All other unlock operations with this Smartclip (V3 8.26.. etc )function perfectly. Thank you for all suggestions and help !! Member: 88701 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 381 | Hey Mac...how are you! Yes..I have unlocked many in the old days...but I can't get any farther than the prepare cycle as it never completes "Sending Boot " before applying. Test Point. |

Member: 239548 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2,781 | I'm ok, what about you? Glad to see you here My SC-1 has unlocked almost all phones in my area, so now I'm in Sigma/SC-2 section most of the time Your version of V3xx R26111MLD-AS_U_96.B0.0FR is untypical (version for USA), therefore open "Prepare phone" bookmark, select "V3xx untypical" and press "Prepare Smart TestPoint" button. Member: 88701 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 381 | Seems like loaders for V3xx ( typical-untypical) were consolidated ...as there is no more menu selection in the new Smart Moto...... just V3XX ? |
