a1000 boot 01.02.11 dead ( shows 3g and dies ) after unlocking with test point


hi

i have a moto a1000, with boot 01.02.11. phone was ok in the beginning and after successfully unlocking it with smart clip and tp ( unlock ok message in sc window ), phone shows motorola 3g and powers off.

what to do please

ps i cannot flash it with rsd ( i get error erasing subscriber unit ) and i have not found full flash for smart clip

Hello codec_romania,

You can try to find *.shx file and flash it in PC mode.
If that will not help than probably You have damaged the phone during Tespoint procedure.

more details about this a1000

i tried to write back the security area and first time i powered on the phone, it worked ok but was not unlocked.

now, after powering it again, it s not working again not even after i write pds back up

i really dont know what to do

suggestions pls?

Soldering TP wires is NOT suggested at all.
In the case of A1000, you solder only the one side of the TP, on the board, while the other side, on the resistor, must not be soldered.

If you have soldered both sides, then check the resistor. It must be damaged.

If you haven't soldered wires, then problem can be repaired by full flashing.

There are some threads in this forum, that can help you.

ive done many phones a1000 easily by testpoint but this 1 came tome from another technician i even asked him if he made backup or not but he never made any backups so tried flashing on pc once the phone came alive but again went dead same blinking moto ----what i guess from this situation is that this problem is caused by low batt or not pressing A-B buttons during unlock----- ok now ill try sleepless razis solution and post results thanks--cpukiller
