unlocked 1 e616v but can't unlock onother - GSM-Forum

I managed to modify my cable at last and i managed to unlock 1 e616v without any problem but the other e616v still ask to incert the correct sim card. the owner which is my wife fooled around with it for a while. I wonder if it is temper locked. Please help.

I found out that all locks are off but not the network lock. Is it possible that the soft (NEC3GR) is giving the wrong codes?

which software are you using ,if you were using the code reader try the direct unlocker from spunlock .

I think u have to use sever unlocker for unlocking ur phone.
Or u also must try vth downgrading ur phone and than unlock vth NEC3GR.
U can find downgrading software link in this forum.

I am using NEC3GR. This downgrading is new to me and am affrade that I will damage my phone. I just downloaded the unlocker from spunlock, I will try it. The doc that comes with it say taht this siftware may chnage your telephones imei. Is that good or bad?

You didnt mention if what codes you actually used ie nck, spnck etc. maybe you missed putting in one as I had to use the three different codes before one of mine was fully unlocked despite phone telling me it was unlocked

First of ALL : Check sw version of phone ( must be <22 )

If phone have a version unlockable via codes, maybe have the counter blocked.

However, try with another code reader ( e.g spunlock "NET" packet )

I managed to unlock it using the unlocker from spunlock, tanks to you guys. But now I have another problem, the language is now chinese and I dont read chinese. How can I change the language back to english?
