Member: 122340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Unlocking NEC 3G-Phones, final questions. After spending days reading trough several forums, I still couldn't get these questions answered, so I hope some expert can help me: I've got a NEC e313 and two NEC e616, which are all locked to Hutchison Austria ("Drei"). With the modified cable and the software "NEC 3G Codes Reader +No data +XP/2000 It's GR Hacked" I could read the NCK, SPCK, CP and SIM-Code of all three phones. The e313 and one of the e616 accepted the entering of all four codes, and now they are free for any 2G-SIM Card I tried. So the first question: Is the phone now open for any 3G-Network too, or just for 2G-Networks plus the Drei-Network? (I don't have any 3G-USIM-Card expect the Drei-Card to test it out.) What exactly do the terms NCK, SPCK, CP and SIM mean? One of the two e616 didn't accept the entering of any code, so I guess it has a blocked counter. After a long time I found the software "www.spunlock.com v 1.44" (at least the title bar of the software says that). This software offers you to "repair" the phone. Is this repair the possibility to unblock the counter? But the problem is, I couldn't repair the phone in any way, not even with this software. After clicking on "repair", the software starts to read something from the phone and then asks me to enter the IMEI. After entering the IMEI of the phone, checked with *#06# from the phone, the software says "wrong IMEI" and then "please wait". After waiting for an hour, I stopped the process because nothing happened. Did I do anything wrong? Thanks for your patience answering my questions. ...martin. |

But then I read the codes with another program, that asked me to type the IMEI in, and the codes generated by this software didn't work too. Thanky for your reply. |
