Trouble Installing Furious Gold Bling - GSM-Forum

I have been trying to install this clip for 2 days and have spent close to 20 hours working on it. The first time I installed on my computer I encoutered this message:

"Press power on!
Error ... !
Time needed - 00:00:07"

Please keep in mind that I have read all the instructions all over here, FG's website, and other websites. I am aware of the "SEEDS.BIN" file but I don't know where is the "module exe". I would like to mention that I am using the cable marked "FGOLD-026" and have tried the the " FBUS", "MBUS" (for the heck of it), with the box attached to Nokia Charger, and without, as well as with the 5V LED on and off. First I change the "choose job" to " Direct Unlock" then I put the battery in only after I clicked on the "DO JOB" which turned the phone on automatically. After 12 hours of not getting any where, I proceeded to install the box on another computer. But this time I am getting:

"bad License found!"

Please HELP as I'm getting frustrated. Thanks

Start Maintenance tool C:\Program Files\FuriouS-Gold
and generate licence key.

To enable run programs from start bar menu run main. tool
and generate key from this location as well.

pantech cable isnt included with box so you must build it yourself.

According to Furious Team's Installation Manual Cable number 026 is for all the Pantechs. This wasted 4 days of my time. I just wish the manufacturer would have supplied the correct information. .:hack3r2k:. thanks for your advice.

Best is double check pinouts of that cable and see if is for real correct pinout. Also as one member posted you PACK 1.

1- RJ45 cable arrived today from Unlock Cellular. It is clearly marked Pantech C300.
2- Installed the newest MAINTAINANCE v1.0.0.514 and updated MODULES PACK 1.
3- I am still getting:

Press power on !
Error ... !
Time needed - 00:00:07

It has been a week that I've been wrestling with this issue. ".:hack3r2k:.", so far you seem to have been the most informed person here. Please tell me what I need to do. I had unlocked a few LG CU500 by full flash using this box in the past. Today it recognized the phone. After the first time it asked me to diconnect and reconnect the phone, my CU500 died and does not power on any more. Thanks

Then maybe pb with phone socket. As for CU500...you had in fact CU500v. Those ones are not supported and dont attempt to flash as you kill. Also maybe theres pb with you box. Ever triued using it with any other rj45 cables ? If no then theres big chnace ur box to be damadged so can ask resaller for replace then.

After buying 2 additional cables ($30) and wasting 2 weeks I found out that the original cable marked 026 which was originally included with my FG Bling was the correct cable. The problem was that I had to change the communication port from com1 which is my default to com9. Yippie Kay Yay, ...
