NEC 122 Unlocking - GSM-Forum

Could someone please let me know the procedure for unlocking the NEC 122.

I have one here, and when I try to unlock it the sw asks to power on handset, so I do, then it just comes up with Error ??

Many thanx for any help.

Bad cable. Look if RX isnt reversed with TX.

check cable pinout..build your own cable pls:
Nec E122

1.........18

2: Gnd
9: phone Rx
10: phone Tx

I have also no success with Nec 122 ...

And what this mean:

Press power on !
Starting communication ...
Speed changed ...
Sending boot ...
Boot sent ...
Application started ...
Error ... !
Time needed - 00:00:07

use pack2 in box firmware

There no mean what pack is uploaded in box - same situation in pack 1, 2 and 3 ...

if you update pack2 and correct cable..must work.
check again cable or phone conector

Try flash it. If still same problem then maybe some hardware error !
