Huwaei e173 Error Imei after unlock - GSM-Forum

after all unlocking e173 modem it loses imei and if i flash back firmware it locks the modem, catch 22 how do leave it unlocked ant still maintain it IMEI coz it cant work without.

yes hack3r2k it loses the imei, when i flash i firmware it identifies the imei as ERROR_IMEI. i have ten modems all behaving the same. the firmware update that i download from provider here Safaricom -My Safaricom Modem Upgrades restores the lock and the modem works ok. i have unlocked huawei e1750 ok without problems and it seems to use the procedure. pls help

No idea, hacker will have to check the code
