Member: 1125954 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Help BB 8900 Curve on Orange FGB not supported Help anybody. And Thanks in advance. I have the the FGB with all packs and have unlocked many phones with it. I love it, even though there is far too little instructions out there, but still the greatest in ease. I have even unlocked the BB Tour on Sprint (US) before an update was done But now I came across the following message on a BB 8900 Curve locked to the UK Orange carrier ... Searching for usb device ... Reading info ... IMEI: 355383037358984 Calculating ... MEP: MEP-07723-005 Unsupported simlock type ! Sorry but you must use slow method ! Time needed - 00:00:07 I tried the slow method with no success, only an error message. Can anybody help me in learning what I must do to get its unlock code? |

Member: 1125954 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | 8900 sec 2009 i agree it seems the going rate is around $20 usd What really gets me is that i have already paid good usd for this box with all 5 packs activated. and honestly here in the usa i really only needed pack 4 and barely pack 5. So why when am i forced to buy other codes that my equiptment should already handle? in fact before the FG update of the bb tool to the phoniex edition i was able to get the code for the 9630 sprint tour which uses the sec 2009 as well. but after the update i was no longer able to get it? funny thing was shortly after that update FG started the new bbserver?? sounds fishy to me. its not like they dont already have the algorythem if they can sell it to us who already paid for an additional $27 usd. Am I the only one here who finds this really odd? I guess i wouldnt complain so much if at least there were decent instructions out there to use on this box. |

Member: 1144248 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1574721 Thanks Meter: 3,936 | Well you are completly wrong, nothing changed to worse, jsut new security appeared and even it seems to be the same 9630 from Sprint it's different security. You can check also that many people were able to unlock 9630 from Sprint with latest update, the problem regarding the phones it's not because Phoenix release it's because of new devices security. Hack3r2k will work as soon as possible on BB module to offer new updates but this brand requires a lot of time Regards Furious Support |
