Hi,

I had this phone to unlock but impossible.
Look :
BBPIN: 2007C2F5
Detected: RIM 7200 Series Colour GPRS Handheld
Platform version: 1.6.0.85
Version too old or current firmware can not be used for unlocking.
Time needed - 00:00:00

Do you have solution for me ?

you need to flash phone, to update firmware and after that to read code..here you have tutorial with how to flash bb phone:

i have the same issue when I tried to unlock 7100i, the phone has the latest sw, on the phone it show it has platform 2.1.0.46 but FG show it has 1.0.46 and with the following error.

BBPIN: 40220DC8
Detected: RIM 7100 Series iDEN Handheld
Platform version: 1.0.46
Version too old or current firmware can not be used for unlocking.
Time needed - 00:00:00

As far as I remember iDEN it's not supported

Well then you should check for newest firmware. I have some bad memory with phones that I never see

It has the latest available firmware. the only thing weird is that the soft keep think the phone has platform 1.0.46 when its actually 2.1.0.46
Maybe that is why its saying the version is too old.
