CE500 Not Connecting

Just gotten the Cable A Adapter today, so I tried it on a Cingular CE500...

...it didn't work.

So I connect the adapter box to the Blazer box, then connect Cable A to the adapter box. I think the adapter is working fine because:

#1 when I launch the program, it recognized that the Cable A is plugged in. With just the adapter box and no cable, program complains that no cable is attached.

#2 when I press Power On Phone, the LED on the adapter box stays lit and the phone displays blink with Cingular logo.

#3 if I connect Cable A straight to Blazer and try both Power On Phone and Connect Phone, nothing happens and it goes right to Disconnected.

However, when I Connect Phone, the software:

#1 first says Reading Information, adapter LED lights up.

#2 then says Connecting Phone, adapter LED lights up, then turns off, then lights up again, and repeats.

#3 phone displays did not turn on, unlike all other LGs I've unlocked.

#4 after that, I've attached a picture to show you what happened.

Am I doing something wrong or what? What should have happened? Thanks!
