Anyone unlocked or flashed a W700i with TMS?
 

Hi - has anyone unlocked or flashed a SonyEricsson W700i with TMS.

I'm using TMS Client 2.23 but it says unlocking is not supported for this model but it should be.
I emailed support and they suggested debranding it first so I downloaded the flash files. All is OK until the very end....
After the main firmware and language files have been flased OK (green highlight) it says there is one stage left then...

Start signal received.
Phone Certificate: A1_DB2010_49_RED
Phone Color: RED
Phone CID:49
Sending FlashLoader...
Sending GDFS Loader...
Error code: 0x002B50 (red highlight)
Initialising Filesystem...
Error code: 0x003240 (red highlight)
Saving JPG snapshot: etc.

I have emailed my support (name left out to save face) and [email protected] but no reply yet.

Anyone else seen this with W700i or does anyone know whats wrong?

I can tell you only that I've flashed successfully W700i with TMS. So I think you problem is not related only flashing. There is something other problem maybe?!

but like i said in my original post, these were uploaded OK, it was on the last stage that I got errors.

Can anyone help me?

OK problem solved.
Instead of using TMS 2-in-1 cable, use SE DCU-60 cable that comes with the phone to flash it, then switch back to TMS 2-in-1 to unlock it.
Use latest TMS version, W700i/W700c unlocking has been improved.

Tricky part is getting the drivers for the DCU-60 cable to load.
> Download drivers from TMS web site and unzip to TMS folder.
> plug cable into USB port (I had TMS running at this point)
> hold down 'C' key on phone and attach cable - DO NOT LET GO OF C KEY
if you do the PC will recognise the phone instead of USB FLASH DEVICE
> When asked for drivers, point it to the TMS folder where the files are that you just downloaded.
> Once the hardware is installed and ready to use, let go of the 'C' key.

The DCU-60 option will only be available in the Flash section of TMS for W700i.
You cannot unlock with DCU-60 cable.
