I can unlock phone but when attemting imei repair i get some error regarding "unknown device"

Connect phone with battery to D800 cable. use GET info function then Write IMEI.

Today i try d600 i can not do anything, phone just starts charging??

Ok managed to do D600 but still having problems with teh E900....i get an error from windows saying something about a "malfunction"

Please i need a solution to this problem asap

Did you manage to solve your problem shahzad9? Im having the same problem with the E900, try rebuilding the IMEI and get 'operation failed', even after get info goes through fine.

Now IMEI repair is available for all new Agere phones that use MSL security, including E900.

PLZ post more details. What software you used to flash the phone? what cable? What firmware version? what flashing mode have you selected ?

eclo i repaired an e900 IMEI before but im trying to do another one but it comes up as saying operation failed.

I gets info and it sometimes work and when i tried to write IMEI it comes up with operation failed.

What can i do??

Use NsPro v1.2c and connect powered off phone with battery to NsPro.Operation take 2-3 seconds. PLZ check if blue led is lighting up when starting operation.If not, reinstall NsPro Box driver.

i have done that and even the blue light says on, however the phone can only get info.
It wont unlock or change IMEI?? Keeps coming up as operation failed. Is there something wrong with the phone??

The SW version is E900XXFF2 but now i get the following error

Setting Test Mode...
Checking Security Type...
Calculating MSL Address...
Bypasing MSL security...
Writing IMEI...
Setting Bluetooth device address...
Operation failed!

i got it!!!
Upgrade to version 1.3. Then switch phone off and get info. Then turn it on and write IMEI.
Worked fine for me!
