how to remove A887 Security Code - GSM-Forum

How can I remove the security code on a Samsung A887 ?. It asks for the lock code even without a SIM Card, so I cannot put in any reset code or anything from the keypad.

reading the phone gives operation failed as I am unable to type *#782872# from the keypad as required by NS Pro during the unlocking process.

Please advise

use service jobs to reset the user lock.

I have the same problem, the issue is when I connect it to the computer, there is no hardware recognized, just the phone start charging, so when I go to service jobs it says "phone not found". Any ideas?
I was thinking maybe in flashing the phone could resolve this. Wht do you think?
