Thumbs up I9300 4.1.1 repair signal successfully


first,repair signal on 4.0.4
second,backup efs by Ns pro
thord,update system to 4.1.1
forth,restore efs backup
firth,now IMEI is 0049......
sixth,repair signal again.....everything will be ok.

you dont need such complicated steps.
Dont matter if the phone is 4.0.4 or 4.1.1

Just root it then write IMEi again.
The phone will be OK with signal and everything...

if the update is by OTA, no. If the update is by Kies or Odin, yes.

but after update to 4.1.1 by odin,signal was gone,and IMEI/SN all normal.I tried to fix it again successfully,signal same....so I restore efs backup.then fix it and work.

Make sure you write the original S/N on the phone when repairing IMEI.
Also the IMEI must be a VALID IMEI.
If you write IMEI 123456789012.. the GSM provider network wont accept the phone to register.

hi i downgraded 4.1.1 to 4.0.4 but not picking up on nspro??? i have done a couple of these phones before and all been fine. just stays on "preparing phone"

Make sure you enable debug mode on the phone, and the phone is rooted.

yes the phone is rooted and usb debugging enabled, and computer picks up drivers but still no response from nspro?

im using version 6.4.2, but i have also tried with version 6.5.0. pls help as i have 2 phones waiting

you definetly have a problem on that pc (samsung drivers not installed correctly) or the phones are not rooted properly.
