samsung s3 00449 imei [SOLVED] - GSM-Forum

i have a samsung s3 i9300 it rooted this mobile then tryed to unlock via nspro

now the imei is 0044 and will not work on my network

i tryed to repair the imei with nsp pro and it allway fails

if there any one can tell me what to do via skype or msn as im really worryed

im on 6.4.1 and have a old c3300k cable and i change the resistor to 560k so it now same as a s7070 cable please help need help now if possible

Fallow the software instructions to unlock/repair IMEI and the phone will be OK.
Use I9300 Root file from NsPro support area and select I9300 Rooted on NsPro.

100% tryed with patch with out rooted and it errors same every time what firmware is best to be installed as i try a few and all the same the one think im a little unsure of is *#9090# then i see (2) speed and press that and see it 115200 is that right

but still same operatin failed

nobody can understand your sentence.
use points "." and commas "," and marks "?, !,..." to make your sentence more clear.

ok

tryed the patch

and tryed rooted

both same results ( operaiton failed )

on software 6.41 it asks to add the mobile to s7070 cable (560k) but then the software asks to keyin *#9090#

and set software on the mobile to 115200 this is option 2 so do i just click on options 2 and then it set is that the right way to do this step

i have tryed s7070 cable with 560k res and also c3300k with 150k res both same will not complete

cant really explain any more if anyone know how to resolve this i would be happy to do remote admin ( teamviewer ) as there not really a 100% way to sort this problem out

all i know is z3x is way behind on this as its impossible to repair ( change ) imei with that tool

my nspro is regged till next of next month so subbed up

ok im going to download the flash file on the server then patch and try again

if i fail ill add you to yahoo

also i made a new cable with a 560k resistor fitted lets ope that sorts it

can i would it be adviced to reflash the .pit file too

and for people like me what dose the .pit file really do

Use Root file and select I9300 ROOTED on NsPro
Dont use patch file.
Patch file is not compatible with latest i9300 firmwares.

right update

just installed

I9300XXBLFB_I9300OXFBLF1.zip firmware on support

then rooted

i9300_root.zip

then after a few times of trying ...... bang bingo the imei was restored

i have to say make sure your useing a s7070 cable and not a c3300k cable

if not very easy to make 3 wires and i used a 560k resistor

pin out are on the support site ......

p.s make sure that the cable is instered right into then uart port on the box
and after reflashing firmware 4.0.4 i did do a vol down and home button and power button to get to recovery mode then did a factory reset and davic partistion reset ...... quite simple

then root and make sure cable fully inserted add details to software and bingo

managed to change imei from dummy 0049...all as above but have to put *#7284# in and choose "modem" at top and "pda" at bottom.

PLZ make sure that you are using NsPro S7070 RJ45 cable.
NsPro work ONLY with cables made for NsPro.
Cables made for other box dont work with NsPro.
C3300K cable will NOT work with i9300.

If the cable is OK, NsPro can write IMEI on the phone, without any problem.

Hi ELCO,

I have one I9300 with imei 004999XXXXXXXX (killed by Z3X Box), i try to flash with i9300xxblh1_i9300oxfblh1 firmware and rooted with I9300 Root v2, but when i try to repair IMEI with Original IMEI and SN :

Waiting for phone...

Root Access Granted!
Preparing Phone...
Resetting IMEI...
Connecting to phone UART...
Using Advanced MSL...
Bypasing Security...
Setting Serial Number...
Writing IMEI...
Resetting Phone...
Operation successfully completed

But still 004999XXXXXXXX IMEI problem ?
I used S7070 NSPRO cable and i also try to repair EFS but nothing...
Can you help me please ?
