@Elco - U600 ... language flashing problem

hi,

it's an old problem,
when flashing some firmwares, phone says "User tried illegal bla bla"

after it, only solution is "imei repair flash" ....

but ... latest HWK, makes it without problem !?!?!
how about that ???

as i see problem is that both NSPro and USTPro
erase some regions in flash that are NVM parts or NVM itself

please chack it out,
firmwares are ... U600XFGG2 and U600XFGD2

i really dont like that customers take U600 phones
to another service, which have more than double cheaper HWK ...

tnx.

i agree ... i also flashed JUST ONE .... and all went ok.

but after, i flashed ~15 phones and none went ok.
i had to repair it with imei repair flash.

as i wrote in UST section, looks like U600 have 2 different board types.

thats why i wait answer some time ago.

strange thing is that, phone which was reapired with IMEI repair flash,
and when flashed again with mentioned flashes, again enter in
"user tried illegal operation" mode.

and one of that phones was succesfully flashed on latest HWK samsung sw.
and all worked ok ....

so .... make conclusion yourself.

hm... what NsPro version you used to flash that phone?
And what procedure?

I flashed many U600 phones with Nspro v3.5.x, 3.6.x, 3.7.0 and everything went perfectly.

The phone IMEI NEVER get damaged and the phone was working perfectly after flashing.

Just an observation, that i posted many times before on forums:
SGH-Uxxx, E840 and E490 phones must be flashed with REPAIR MODE option enabled on NsPro.

Hi Elco,

i used v3.6, v3.7, with or without repair mode selected, always the same.
phone says "user tried illegal bla-bla-bla" ....

i repeat,
after flashing with imei repair flash file,
phone cant be flashed with some normal U600Xxxx version on NSPro, nor USTpro,
BUT ... friend with HWK latest software, flashed it with NO PROBLEMS,
using the same U600XFGG2 flash file ....

thats what am I talkin' about

please try to get some HWK and check what it exactly do maybe you can get some answers.

tnx.

After the phone got NVM damaged, you get message "User Fault on illegal trial"
This error can be fixed only with special firmware from NsPro suipport area.
Flashing with other firmware, using any other tool will not fix this problem.

1. NsPro dont damage the phone NVM on flashing process, if you use firmwares from NsPro support area.
If you use flash files from other sources, you do it on your own risk.
2. Once phone NVM area damaged, can be repaired with special firmware available on NsPro support area.
3. After using special firmware, you cant flash the phone with standard firmware. Any standard firmware used on damaged phone, will bring back the "User Fault..." problem.

Not true. I flash Samsung phones via NSPro only with flash files from NSPro-Support. And guess what? I've got corrupted imei, and illegal blabla..

Special file to repair this? Yes... but I'm from Poland and I need polish language in it, special file doesn't have it...

looks like we misunderstand each time ...

i'm talking this from personal experience, and things i SAW with my OWN eyes,
will try to get some screenshots to prove it, later.

1. i'm using nspro area firmwares ONLY
2. i dunno what it damages or not, but phone says "user tried illegal bla-bla" after flashing mentioned firmwares
3. only solution is imei repair flash, which is BAD, it lacks language support we need
4. MOST IMPORTANT - phone repaired wit imei repair flash,
flashed later on last HWK SAMSUNG software, accept that firmware,
no "user tried illegal bla-bla" message .... i dunno how, but it works

i'm asking .... can you make that or not ?

sounds like ... should i spend some 50 euros to buy HWK,
because those damn U600 are very popular around here ?

thanx for your attention.
