I just can get 3.8.6 to work!

Iveread all the posts ive been to http://www.nsteam.org/drivertutorial.htm

and followed it 100%. I have even uninstalled Jaf in case that is affecting it! But whatever I do It always says there is a problem installing this device. I have totally run out of idea's. I have reinstalled, rebooted a million times but always message NSPro Port not detected! Maybe it is to do with the the NS Pro Port I am using number 4(well below 10(. Which drivers should I use here? Either way I have followed everything and after hours of it im giving up. But if someone can give any other suggestions in the meantime I would be grateful! As I say I have followed the above and every other suggestion!

This is true:is very unstable this box.I have 3 pc's at my workplace and nspro it doesn't work on any of them.In change at my home on my computer is working OK.So,now I have 4 computers at the service. This was the single method that I can use NsPro without problems.I've instaled it on a single computer and it's working.
Regards!

It worked fine with the 3.8.0 version

This one just will not work. If you are saying I have to buy a new pc just for one software that must be a joke?? It has and is driving me mad though!

Try this if not done so already

Uninstall all NSpro
Delete the folder NSPro
Download it again from NSPro site
Install 3.8.6
When asking for drivers MANUALLY point them to the folder

Thats how I did it and worked for me

it worked 2 days, till I had to install a blackberry desktop suite, and it set the comport for blackberry to the same port as nspro com port (com 5), so today I had "com bort not available" again. i finally uninstalled Blackberry suite, and it works again, but like as I said, if you don't have a PC just for NSPRo, you will encounter problems often....

I have Jaf, bb5box, thunderstorm, hwk (one of them), typhoon dongle, sagdd on a secont pc, NSpro, UB, other two HWK-s, scdr2, infinity, furious, martech, Rockerdongle, Setool, vygis on the first one, and all was ok till I installed blackberry drivers.... I cannot understand why blackberry took over the NSpro's comport....
