PLZ check the sim card.
That problem dont have anything to do with unlocking.
Clean the sim card contacts then connect the card to phone.

Yes I did with 3 active sims. 2 from AT&T and 1 from H2O. NSPro said unlock successful but still shows no sim.

Donate money to this user
Go to dialer and type *#2263# and select automatic for band selection.

Did you test with other simcard first ( AT&T,H20 ) if it ask for unlock code?
because I never had any problem like this using NSpro before
I had my NSpro since 2008 and since then I never since this kind of problem with NSpro unlocking!

Most likely it has a hardware issue on simcard reader. Open the phone and check the connector on the board it might be disconnected because all Samsung Galaxy, all simcard reader is replaceable ( meaning it can detach from mother board not like many cellphone is solder on cellphone.

Phone doesn't ask for unlock code. It just says no sim card. I tested with T-mobile and Simple sim, it works fine.

I have no problem with nspro either. but this is the first t889 i do so just wondering if there might be a glitch or something wrong with this phone

most likely there is something wrong with the other sim card that you try to use. If is a cuted sim card, maybe it wasn't cuted correctly.
Test the same sim card on other phone that use micro sim (ex. s3)

all sim cards were tested and work fine. Customer already came and picked up the phone. I think it is because of the phone. I have another T989 today and it works great. However, the option T989 Uart didn't work though. Thanks!!!

Then reflash the phone. First type *#06# to see if IMEI is correct and ok. Then reflash. Tru full reset first. Try *2767*3855# maybe will do the trick.
