Z540 flash failure? - GSM-Forum

Couldn't unlock this phone, so tried to flash it. All appeared to be well, until it reset itself after the flash process. I flashed modem, r1, r2, and fs using z540xbfe5 from the support area.
Phone just dispays a diag menu now? On it all I have is
page 1/3 *: picture #:next
blah blah blah
Never seen this menu before, but there should be enough info for those who have to help me.

If I go to download mode from this menu the screen goes yellow. If I switch the phone on manually holding 9 and power then then phone screen goes blue, control panel sees it correctly, but ns reports the error "reading aknowledge failed"

Any ideas????

i had same prob...i wanted to unlock it but no joy.so i flashed it..fone died.then i tryed with Z540DZFEI.fone is alive but still locked.better alive than dead.

I am not having success unlocking this z540 which shows phone freeze when an incorrect chip is inserted. I flashed successfully with nsPro i even flashed the bootloader and usb boot sections. All went well however phone freeze still there (just as expected) anyone know how to get rid of the phone freeze. Otherwise when i perform the unlock procedure it always fails. Sometimes it restarts the phone.

guys i think found solution
press * an # a few times let the phone format an do its thing but put phone on charge for hour or bit more an keep pressing * an # an then put phone on to ns pro but change port to com9 an try flash phone must work i suffere whole day bu got it working after change to com9 but go to nspro support to verify the changes to com9 although it does not say y should hange to com9 but it works an charge battery while phone is doing its own format. good luck
