Flashing problem with PBB (solved)

Hi,

I had a special flashing problem a few hours ago.
I had to flash my friend's N6100 but I always got error MCU didn't boot or something.
I haven't seen that before so I checked my Twister service battery I used for it.
I found a 10K resistor betwwen GND and BSI.
I checked my N6230 service battery and found 68K resistor between GND and BSI.
I replaced 10K to 68K and all flashing problems solved.

Better is to completely remove this resistor. From any phone model cable. Original Nokia cables not have inside any resistors. Also there is another resistor via BSI line in Griffin/Twister/... cables. This is better to remove and solder wire directly.

Best regards,
Zulea

Do you mean we should remove and directly connect all resistor inside our service cable including BTEMP to GND??

At least remove resistor from BSI line, then try again

I checked all my cables , and i found out that's there's no resistors in all my cable in the bsi line... only resistors at between gnd and bsi. But I finally succeded flashing using pbb, only not perfect, always got mcu ack error in the middle of the process. And what makes it more strange is I HAVE TO USE 6V 500mAh to flash a phone !!!!!!!!!! I already tried all voltage, 7,5V;8V;9V; event 12V all can't work, always got mcu id checksum or mcu didn't boot error. With 6V I can flash phone, but still got errorr in the middle off procces ( MCU did not ACK )................

I tried it and worked fine without resistors but I think you should try 3,3K in BSI line and 68K between BSI and GND. This cable works fine with other boxes too.
I'm sure 6V 500mA is not enough for flashing maybe you should find a stabilized power supply which can 7-8V and at least 1A.
