SW update procedure when using USB cable:

A. Alive phone (phone in normal mode. Make sure that the phone is not in
offline mode)
1.
Plug in USB cable (from PC to phone)
2. When phone asks mode, select “default mode”
3. Select USB connection from Manage Connections
4.
Scan the product
5.
Use Flashing -> Firmware Update to update the phone
B. Dead phone flashing (phone does not go to Normal Mode) using Phoenix
version 2005.44.7.123. Because of problem in this Phoenix version you
need first use alive phone and USB connection to get product codes
visible to UI. Then follow the following steps:
1.
Close connection (use Manage Connections. Select NO
CONNECTION, use arrow key to put it as first in the list. Click
Apply)
2.
Remove the USB cable from the phone
3.
Connect dead phone to USB cable
4.
Select product code from the list
5. Select Dead phone USB flashing check box
6. Press start
7. When program status text asks you to press phones power button
do it and flashing will be done
-After flashing there is no USB connection, so if you have more dead
phones, you can flash those just putting new phone to USB cable
-If you are flashing some other phone models, then you have to make
an appropriate connection from Manage Connections
