Hi Guys,

Tried to change firmware on a Nokia N91 from 1.11.003 to 1.10.003. Update startet, but after a while window popuped and says that i cant downgrad firmware.
Now N91 stays dark. if i try to connect nothing happens. can´t switch N91 on. Nothing. Compltly dead?

How can i reactivate N91???? Any key combination to start it in update mode???

Please help!!!!

Thanx in advance

ok, i searched for cable and found several "7pin cables".

But a technician at Vodafone Germany says there is no 7pin cable for Nokia N91, because N91 has only mini-usb. Not the typical nokia connector. he says that there is no 7pin cable for N91.

now i´m really confused.....

any ideas????

beleive me there is 7pin cable.
it is service cable with batery adaptor , N91 have pins (for 7pin cable) under batery !!

Pali

i have here N91 for flashing too, but only usb cable, dont know if it is safe to flash it with PBB, because Pbb killed my 6280 !!!
Pbb doesnt support flashing 6280 ! so maybe same problem with N91.

You are asking, why is your N91 dead? Cos you downgraded it. NEVER DOWNGRADE BB5. Only fbus flashing heps to you now, but not with PBB (try JAF, MTbox, unibox....) With PBB and latest phoenix you can flash N91 OK, but only by USB.

I've flashed many 6280 with my PBB1 used the latest Phoenix without any problem via USB of course. I flashed them with 3.81 SW version.

PS: Yesterday flashed an N91 too. Works fine.

@Roy

i flashed 6280 about 3-4 months ago, there was older version 128 i think ! this one killed my phone. Today i update to latest version 148 (??) -as Foony writes me to use, and i flashed N91 via USB without problem !
Of course never use older version. (firmware release )
