PBB2 Installation Notes

What I need :

Drivers
FLS-4 Drivers HERE

Software
PhoenixBlackBox_v7.0 HERE
Phenix ( From Support Area )
Wintesla ( From Support Area )

Installation Steps :

Drivers
Run FLS4207.Drivers with PBB2 not connected.
PowerOn Your PBB2 ( I used 7.5v and -(°+ Polarity. )
Insert USBCable ( male-male ) on PC and then in PBB2
System will start searching drivers for installation... let system do that for You
wait ... there are some drivers to install, so be patient.
when complete system will tell You new hardware is ready.
Now You can start BlackBoxTool_v70.exe and see how Your PPB2 is configured.
Now You can "GO Support" and download what You need.

Software

Wintesla
Install Wintesla.exe and Restart PC
Start Wintesla Service Software
First time Wintesla will ask for a Login name, put "NN1" or "NN2"
Connect and Start to work

Phoenix
Take Your PBB2 and PowerOn ( I used 7.5v and -(°+ Polarity. )
Insert USBCable ( male-male ) on PC and then in PBB2
Start Phoenix Installation
Installation procedure will tell Dongle not Found ( Retry or Abort ?) , don't worry just wait ...
a window will open for FLS drivers installation, let do the system yhe job for You.
when dtrivers installation will complete just press "retry" on Phoenix Installation Error window just leave
installation will continue ... and will ask for FLS driver one time again.
as before wait window system installation drivers comes up and, as before, let the system do the job for You
when complete, press "Retry" on on Phoenix Installation Error window just leave
installation will continue ...
Now take a coffe and wait
At the end You will need to restart PC and wait all *.dll files be registered on system
Finally start Your Phoenix Software .

System : XP-SP2 - USB-HUB v2.0

with BlackBoxTool.exe You can set Your PBB2 to works in three ways

- FLS
- PK1
- PK1-RD ( research & developement the most reach of phoenix options )

When in Phoenix menu select "Manage Connections" to set how You wish to work ( FBUS or USB ) and let Phoenix try fo find out which connections are ready in Your system.( You can setup that manually )

For FBus Mode , Connection-Port, must be the same as in Your FLS Driver setup ( Look at Windows Control Panel : FLS icon )

For USB Mode same as Your DKU-2 Cable Driver

If all is ok, attach phone and press "Scan For Products"
From this point on You can make everything You want on phone

To flash phone just press "Software Update" option check Your Firmware before and if You need download from Support Area

Regards
