Red face a problem When trying to flash a dead N70


this is my first time to flash N70 & when i tried to begin flashing i faced a problem & it's when i press the "check" or "flash" button it says "product selection mismatch" & i have attached a snapshot for the problem, so any body faced that problem before plz help

p.s: i have the power flasher box with hwk & the latest suite to flash & the latest fia update

Note the version of your flashfile and your phone, is it RM84 or RM90(4)?

it's RM84 but it's not the point coz i said it gives me that msg even when i'm trying to do the check button & it's not matter to specify the model when doing check & thnx ...

just connect the n70 cable to the vpp adaptor and it will work, 100% tested

l have tried that and lm still getting the same maseage the phone is dead but when you insert the charger the flash light powers on if any one can help.

l have just tried checking with all the bb5 phones and it could be that the fone was flashed with the wrong flash file. as the phone is read when l select rm70 so just check if it was not flashed with the wrong flash file befor it came to you. and now the big issue is how can you reflash it with hwk back to n70.l have tried but it says mismach. if l select 7370 it reads the phone but how do l flash it with rm84 l tried moving the mcu file from rm84 to rm70 but it will not flash.

if u r very sure of that then untick autodetect product and flash again.
