V3 unlock problem. TOTALMOTO team, GOBI - GSM-Forum

i got 1 V3 need to unlock. SO i follow GOBI V3 and V550 Unlock INSTRUCTIONS:

the problem is i cant unlock i follow the INSTRUCTIONS
Here are the steps on how to unlock this phones:

Short manual (it's not final v3 solution)

1*.
- connect phone and press 'Deactive' button...
- wait message 'Reconnect miniUSB cable...'
- disconnect miniUSB cable from phone and connect it again after second (or few second, no matter)
- wait for process will be finished

*- after thist step (1) You cant PowerOn phone untill You flash it

2**. Flash phone with Your flash file

**- You can make only SLZ BackUp before flashing... Other functions may be possible after flashing...

3. Now You can make unlock or BackUp or restore BackUp

4. Press 'Upgrade' button, That's all Your phone is ready to work...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.
i connect phone and press 'Deactive' button...
i wait message 'Reconnect miniUSB cable...'
i disconnect miniUSB cable from phone and connect it again
i wait for process will be finished

2.
i Flash the phone. by press the REPAIR/UPGRADE buton
after done i press reset subsidy

3.then press upgrade button.. DONE
then check info... my phone version doesnt change any. still the old version.
so i put sim and test. is same. subsidy code

MR GOBI,TOTALMOTO team can u help to unlock my V3???????

MR GOBI. i saw at other reseller total moto already got the FINAL SOLUTION for V3... what is that??

I think i know where is the problem:

BEFORE YOU PRESS the ''Reset Subsidy'' button, just moove the SLZ backup for the phone you want to unlock from the SLZ folder:

In c:/programfiles/Motorola/TotalMoto/SLZ folder --> please moove the SLZ for your V3 from there in another directory.
If it is more easyer, just moove all files from there in another directory. (I sayed MOOVE THEM, because this security backups you may need them)

Now, when you will press ''Reset Subsidy'' button, the phone will be unlocked .

Generally if you try to unlock any phone that has the SLZ bacup in that specific folder --> then the software will try again to make the same backup there and will abort unlocking.

You see the red glowing text there? --> THAT shows me exactly that i was righte and that you have still that SLZ file there in the directory and unlocking was aborted.

MOOVE that files JUST BEFORE pressing the ''Reset subsidy'' button.

Try again to repeat all steps -- and mooving the SLZ file out there before pressing ''Reset Subset'' button.

Allways keep save THE FIRST SLZ backup that was made for that phone.
This is like the Teh zone for Alcatel in matter that if any problems you need this FIRST MADE BACKUP to recover the phone.

ok i flash with step by step.
but after flash phone. my phone still old version. this means TOTALMOTO doesnt flash it?????
my step is

1. click on deactivate button
2.open file C:\Program Files\Motorola\TotalMoto\Flashes\v3_0e40_lp_39\v3_ 0e40_lp_39.tmf

3.wait for message UNPLUG MINI USB. so i unplug phone ans plug again.
once i pulg in. nothing happen.

4. i flash my phone using button repair/upgrade

5.after few minute done.
Phone found...
Sending RAM downloader...
Checking RAM...
Erasing...
Erase complete...
Uploading SW...
Write complete...
Mobile swithes OFF...

6. after this why my phone can NORMAL ON??????? somebody told me should be cannot b4 pressing the last step UPGRADE button

7.i on the phone make connected , i clear the SLZ folder and press reset subsidy

Phone found...

(this step sometime can sometime showing error)

9. Done this all ... my phone version still remaining the old version. does change!!!!

Seems indeed your phone is also not getting flashed ...

Try also to install the TotalMoto on another PC, or try to use a USB hub with esternal Power.

i try intall on my notebook but getting error PRIVATE INSTRUCTION. even i install the user port and do the all setup bios LPT port... but no use also...
thats why i use my PC install it. thought can work well... but now failed to unlock..
