5 locks closed after flashing k500i - GSM-Forum

i flashed k500i with r2ae flash ...it was in blinking problem....sonicsbox flashed it completely ..when power on k500i it says insert correct sim card...now its all locks are closed..........i tried to write gdfs but it stops at 82%.......
Tell me what to do?

resurrect phone and unlock/repair, in sonicslanguage write gdfs when repairing.

Yes, as what the_microe said, tick "write gdfs when repairing", select k500i gdfs file in the "gdfs or script file" field, then press UNLOCK/REPAIR button.

Had the same error with k500 too. [but no locks] Flash bin+fs ok, but gdfs also stops at 82%.
Seems to be a bug in Setool or bad gdfs. Read a gdfs from a friends k500.
No problem to repair with this gdfs.

i read gdfs from another ok k500i and successfully write to phone but no success....when i tick "write gdfs when repairing" phone goes back to its blinking problem condition........... :-(

pls post the log and attach the gdfs here, i'll try to help you.
How to copy the log:
Click the right button of the mouse in the inter-active window of SONICS, you'll see a menu, select "copy to clipboard" and click.

when you have a phone which is blinking, upload gdfs and write it, simple -

if you have a 5locks closed phone, resurrect it ''write gdfs when repairing'' and upload gdfs _ then press unlock/repair.

As per experience do not use the GDFS file included in the CD...

GDFS from CD stops on 82%

Tried reading from good unit...and flash it in ur 5 locks close unit...works fine...

If u will notice file size is different from file got from CD...

yes ive experienced it also with setool....writting gdfs solves the 5 locks problem...........
