Member: 1738479 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Hi! I am from the Philippines. Just recently, I bought a china phone nokia 6300 dual sim(actually it wasn't my intention to buy china phone I was just fooled by their sweet words. I tried to visit in this site only to find out that my phone is a chinese device). Anyway, when I got home from buying it, the phone works fine in several minutes and I had not tried yet to insert another sim at the sim2 slot. But afterwards the phone reveals its problems. The first sim slot works fine in an open area where perhaps it could catch more signals but when inside the building the sim1 signal indicator would always display "no service" problem. Because of this, I was kinda curious what happens when I insert another sim at the sim2 slot... And I did inserted it. It works in several minutes too but afterwards more complicated problems than in sim1 happened. In sim2, the problem would always display "invalid sim" error... One of my hobbies is technical and electronic repair but I have not studied it in any colleges... its some sort of curiosity to any devices that leads me to learn all by my self. It is just a pure hobby and nothing else! But with the problems above it seems to be beyond my learning. I remembered that I downloaded a special program software called WORLD UNLOCK CODES so I tried it. I copied two written IMEI's in my 6300 cellphone(353066013435745 and 35306601345746) and pasted it to the WORLD UNLOCK CODES hoping that it would help me solve the problems. In the long run nothing works. Being suspicious if those written IMEI's in the 6300 is correct or valid, I tried typing *#06# and found out that the only IMEI that coincides with the written IMEI at the back of the 6300 was 353066013435746. this was exactly revealed in the screen after typing *#06#: IMEI IMEI:353066013435746 IMEISV:78 IMEI:135790246811220 instead of 353066013435745, the other IMEI is 135790246811220. My 6300 was made in finland as it is written at the back of the unit and the written code is 0514528 The unit is actually in a 2 day warranty but I could not avail it because of this “****IN’ CURIOUSITY” of mine. I already disassembled the device within the warranty period…. Huhuhu! PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS DOOMED CHINESE DEVICE…. I have my girlfriend waiting for my reply…. Huhuhu!!!!!!! Well seriously, can you help me sir???? Pleeeeeaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! |

Member: 148515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 19,534 | hello! for sure you can not repair SIM1 signal strength, but for SIM2 you need to set valid IMEI value. "Invalid SIM" is becuase of wrong IMEI. It can be repaired even without cable, just over bluetooth connection. read this tread how: IMEI change without cable over Bluetooth link step-by-step tutorial - GSM-Forum I assume you are not going to buy Infinity box just for one phone, so search this forum for free or cracked IMEI change programs: Chinese Models & Cloned Phones - GSM-Forum |
