Bird S198 cable not working
 

Hi,

I have purchased a special cable for Bird S198 from my resseler in Baroda,Gujarat.

When I connect the cable in USB port, it does not recognise by the computer. It does not ask for the drivers.

I have XP SP2 in my desktop PC and Laptop. In both the computers I've connected the cable but it don't work. I uninstalled Infinity, Box drivers etc. and again installed but nothing work for the cable.

Is my cable bad ? or what should I do ?

Hello,

You must connect phone + cable to PC and only then you will be asked to install drivers.

When I connect the phone and cable with PC, it shows unknown device.

Try to install drivers for this unknown device manually.

I've tried to install drive, reboot PC but still does not recognise. It says "USB device not recognised".

When I connect the phone, option to switch off the phone is asking in phone screen. No key works.

What to do next ?

2. Are you sure that phone hardware is Ok ? Maybe phone is damaged.
