Question Can't write flash in C115!


Motorola is working and i try to write russian files in it, but i got this error message:

Write: Firmware
Write: Flex
Write: Language Pack
Device: C115/C116
Checking data, wait...
Connect...
Press and Hold Power button...
Err: B03: 66746D746F6F6C
Connect Fail
Finished
Remove/Install battery now !
Time used: 6 sec

or this tipe:


Write: Firmware

Press and Hold Power button...
Release Power button !
Connect Done
Boot...
Err: [04]
Boot Fail

Remove/Install battery now !

The phone is not damaged, it's working OK, but i tryed 3 pieces to write and got the same error. What can i do in this cases???!!!
P.S. : C155 flashing is working OK!

Just try to re-configuration USB-TO-COM latency timer or use normal Com cable.

Hi,
Check "Documentation" folder and you will see how to make changes in COM port settings.

i configured the port, because C155 does not worked and after configurateing C155 is working fine, but C155 - NOT!

same problem, ..so i use normal serial ( not USB) interface and all it's OK..try it.

Hello,

It's for sure cable problem. If it not works with ordinary COM port cable it's very strange but in any case I am sure it's cable problem.

btw , what SO u have? cos under XP i got all that error messages u receive but under win98 with normal serial interface all it's OK. I supose on XP some comunication protocols r more secure, try with win98.

tested on 3 uniboxes

The same problem. It doesn't work in Win98. C155 is working, but C115 - not. This is not a cable problem, because C155 is working 100%!!! How you can explain this?
