Hello, there is two reasons :
1. Just to shout up possible " first in world support chinese box bla-bla-bla " and e.t.c.
2. Just to be, as other Nokia MTK phone. CM2 support all current Nokia MTK Phones. Yes, bonus.

Activated - mean it added to list of supported.

BEST can service MTK Nokia with much aspects , can flash and unlock, repair.
CM2 can make read info/check and reset/format phone. Some peoples need it only. Who want service them more better - can activate BEST after.
