connect the phone to the computer

Hi, the following log always appears whenever I try to use CM2 MT2 to repair a phone. It appears before I even connect the phone to the computer. Who knows the solution?

Card found : 340F2D5A , v0146
Infinity-Box [ Chinese Miracle ] MediaTek Service Module [ MTK ] v2.15

Load IDBase v729152 Ok!

Operation : Identify [ v2.15 ]
Mode : FLASH

1. Make sure device is powered off. Power off, if need. Wait 20 seconds after
2. Insert USB cable in phone
Waiting for device connection ...

PTFN : MTK USB Modem Port (COM79)
MODE : PRELOADER PORT
PORT : 79
Error : Failed to open port!

Error : Fail to init protocol!
>>> Remove battery, cable. Check cable/connection/driver! Check SW hint! Repeat operation!

Reconnect Power/Cable!

I have tried the suggestion but it does not seem to work. I have uninstalled the mtk preloader driver and restarted the computer but I still get the error. Quite mysteriously, the CM2 MTK version works fine, the error is only in the CM2 MT2 version.

I do not have a usb modem, I use wifi. I uninstalled the mtk modem driver and the box moved on to the next available driver. I even removed all the mtk vcom drivers and it moved to mediatek usb ports and usb debug port, still displaying the same error message.
