sometimes i also experience it..
read pattern lock only but not set when you read it?

Looks like firmware would be needed for check, wait for respected Mr. JayDi.
Hope you have not format/Full Factory Reset the phone or made backup before reset.

One phone problem on 100 sucess - not a reason to investigate problem.
