I was told only infinity can do this model, but cant do the new version.
I am stuck with the new version 779.

Hey shinta, did you figure out why it can't unlock the UTSTARCOM 779 version? All the new models out are the new Version 779, not the old version..

So dont buy any, you will be totally screwed...This has been 4 months no solution..
