infinity -box for beginners/noobs

please permit me to create this thread and if similar thread exist correct me.
the forum is full of thread but how do we the new users start

first of all as a new user my self i ended up with a smartcard error just after registering my box and trying to upgrade it. i have contacted infinity and have been given a repair key to do repair in repair mode but till date i still have the same smartcard api error #0 problem. without using my $379 investment yet

so new users
rule number one :avoid updates if not necessary

my dongle now miraculously works. Thank ***

I cleaned the card reader and adjusted the card inside the holder
and suddenly windows dedected egate smart card and started driver installation
i then did the update again in repair mode with the repair_key sent me by the dongle team.

and hallelujah it read my card

What you can do:
1. Simply IGNORE posts of people with text like "same prublum", "not wark" etc. due to in most cases it's a posts from people who just want to increase their post counter.

it does truly works. i contacted the dongle team and the response was great they have been constantly replying my mail till finally my dongle started working again.

Box/Dongle may have different software inside.
Activation Level is used to indicate activated software.
List of available additional software activations is here: Infinity-Box - Price-list

Which of the activation is a must have in order to unlock and flash most phones toady is it BEST, CDWM or just the box is enough for new users.
2. Do we need to download software for each activation
3. Do we remove battery from phone before unlocking or flashing?
4. Which types of phone use pin out and which do not

I sucessfully unlocked my first phone huawei u8160 thanks to infinity team for the free credit.

Tip. Connect the phone to the computer not the box
2. Put the phone in fast boot mood . Google how to put ur model into fastboot mode
3. Install fastboot drivers for your device frm dc unlocker support area.
4. Let dc client detect your phone and unlock

NB. If finding it difficult to detect phone, remove battery from phone for 20s and enter fast boot mode again and try again.

do we use the usb cable or RJ45 cable or what
and how to we connect it to the main box

You have to use Rx/Tx/Gnd cable.
