RAW dump can be a direct NOR, or NAND dump image for example, depending on the chip. You can load it into R-Studio for example, but it won't be able to find a valid filesystem. There's a tool for converting NOR dumps from MTK feature phones, essentially stripping extra data, and once you do that, filesystem is detected correctly and can be processed. I haven't seen such tool for dumps made from SPD phones (i can share that dump file if you want). Recently had such dump and none of the tools i have was able to decode any useful data out if it, but Data Explorer extracted SMS. Part of the extraction was Quote:

open an image, go to address ~0x300000, you will see a lot of 0xFF bytes you should find data that will start after that big 0xFF block - it's filesystem you can save it to separate file with hex editor

I did, and indeed not far from that address there are lots of 0xFF bytes and after that something that looks like user data (SMS in case of those 2 dumps). I expected to find FAT filesystem like with other SPD dumps but this doens't seem to be the case here. Would it be possible for you to option to dump filesystem to disk out of such image?
