i worked with changing the imei number of a Lenovo phone.
software shows both imei changed but in mobile phone only imei 2 is always changed and imei remains the old...
plz look at the log here

I can upload flash file if needed.....

It is because first one recover from security check.
Since it SLS2 gen phone - it will always recover it.
I will obtain some samples with such security in near time and will try activate their support.

1. Power off device, wait 10-15 seconds
2. Press and hold BooKey ( 1 : BOTH VOL , 2 : VOL+ , 3 : VOL- )
3. Insert cable in device!
