KE970 flash problem

I'm having problems whilst flashing the above model.

All phones are brand new. This has only started recently.

Phone works okay, unlock okay, phone works fine.

Flash phone to debrand it and the phone is now locked. Re-unlock phone and now the phone will not switch on. Re-flash it and phone will switch on but is locked again. Unlock it again and once again the phone will not switch on again.

Each time the procedure for flashing/unlocking works fine without any errors in the logs or during the procedure. Eventually on last Friday it flashed/unlocked with out relocking/not switching on. I'm not sure why it work that time but it just did.

Today I have anothe KE970 (brand new out of the box) and it is doing the same thing, any ideas?

Hello,

Please, post here unlock operation log so we can check what is the problem.
Also, please, make this:
1. read eeprom from working phone
2. make unlock
3. read eeprom again
send both eeporm files (before and after unlock) to [email protected] so we can check what is the problem

Also you can try to download previous "Pana01" software from software/updates/archive folder and try to unlock phone with previous version.
Let's see results

There is nothing wrong with the hardware, it is a brand new phone and will work perfectly well if reflashed and left locked on T-Mobile. The problem is whe I unlock it.

Having tried both the Apr & Aug 2007 firmwares located in support and
flashed them both several times without success, today I downloaded the May 2007 firmware and that has worked without relocking the phone to its original network.

I'm not sure why this has happened but it seems that when the phone was unlocked, even by using codes as opposed to direct unlock, this did something to the phone to upset it, I even wrote the IMEI again but it just wouldn't boot properly. Then reflashing somehow undid the unlock procedure.

Anyway, May 2007 firmware resolved the issue.

Ok, I did not say about "hardware problems", I just make you an offer: reball flash and CPU.

Also, if you want to get real advice it is good idea to explain the problem so detailed as possible, explain here phone history and more details but do not write zero explanation like "same problem" !

Thks For Your "Offer" Bro;
And Your Advice Too, I Think Well You Are A Programmer so it is enough for you only one word To Know The Real Problem, This Is A Reason To Write "Zero Explanation".
Anyway The Problem Are Solved.
Thks Again

I am very glad to hear that your problem is solved.
Please, next time post here solution instead of words "problem solved" because I am absolutel sure that nobody interested in words like "I solve my problem" but everybody interested in ways to solve the problem.
Good luck !
