Let's try to detect it.
Please, tell me what is phone connector type, how many pins ?
Is it only one row or 2 rows ?

Also, did you tried to open phone and see at it's PCB ?
In some cases it's possible to find Rx/Tx/Gnd test points at phone PCB.
