Nokia N98+ Supported ?


Hello all, I would like to know if this model Nokia N98+ is supported or not with infinity box? If yes what are the pinout ?

hello!

lets start from checking what CPU it is based.
you either can do this by disassembling phone or by typing *#0044# and pressing green (send) button.
if you will see "language set: english"- you can be sure, that this phone is supported by Infintiy software

Correct, Language set to English, then it supported, do u know a pinout for cable? it look like Samsung D800 cable.

i would advice to use pinfinder, but if you dont have i can teach how to find pinout using multimeter

hello!

1. set multimeter to voltage measuring.
2. check bettery voltage, it should be more than 3,7volts
3. set one multimeter probe to some grounded phone part
(if you cant find grounded part outside phone- you need to take out small thin wire from negative battery terminal)
4. with second probe touch one by one all phone pins (phone battery attached, will work on powered phone as well as not powered_On)
(to get better result i would advice to set needle on the end of second probe)

memorise pins with voltage between 2,7-2,9volts.
those are tx/rx
