Pinfinder Cannot ON a mobile phone - Not enough mAh I have a chinese mobile phone. I need to get the pinouts from pinfinder but when i POWER on the pinfinder to switch on the phone, the mobile does not switch on. I have already read the pdf manual and done all modification. The Voltage from the uni box is 5 volt and from the pinfinder its 4.9volts. I have never get problem before but for this model it need more power to switch it on. On the baterry it writes : 3.7v 3000mAh. Can i know what is the mAh for pinfinder? how can i get more POWER to make the phone switch ON... |
Hello, 4.9v at pin-1 should be enough, but I suggest you to open box and short diode, so voltage at pin-1 will be 5v. Also you can try to add capacitors (photo is in PinFinder manual, near the photo of diode). Do you see power problem with one phone or all phones can not power-on ? |

I have already short the DIODE. Cant we supply outside POWER to the mobile phone but yet we can find the PINOUTS? |
Hello, As I can see, some Chinese phones has huge power consumption (by unknown reason, probably hardware problems). In this situation you can try to find pinout and solder Rx/Tx/Gnd wires from box directly to phone and use phone battery |
