5310 RM-217 no flash file from support site

Hello InfinitySuppport,

I need your assistance with this unit 5310 (RM-217). The phone is totally dead and I can't find the exact flash file for this one. Would you please help with this one... Below are the steps I already tried:

1. Use safe format and there is an error
2. Use the complete format and it completed the process. The problem now is, the phone powers on for a few seconds and it only shows the Nokia logo then it shuts down and you cannot power the unit again. You need to repeat the process again then phone do exactly the same thing. I tried using the repair feature to no avail.

3. Downloaded 4 different flash files from the support site and flash it one at a time to the phone. The unit is alive again but with white screen. I concluded that the flash files are not compatible with the unit.

Here is the exact filename of the flash file.
MT6225_06B_PCB01_GPRS_MT6225_S00.GF5_06B_W07_08_MP _V27

The file has a 9.10MB of filesize. The flash files from the support site have different filesize. Therefore, I concluded they are not compatible with this unit.

I also want to ask the help of other techs who have a good flash file for this unit I just need it badly. Thank you in advance for all of your support.

hello!

you must tell us phone Original software version.
for this you must open with notepad operation.log file which is located in Chinese Miracle folder.
scrool it from up from end and find First operation with this phone (first format FFS)
date/time stamp can also be helpfull in finding it
there you will see Original software version.

post it here

Hi!

I tried the four flash files below from the support area including the one you have suggested to no avail. The unit will power on but only white screen will appear on its lcd... Any other suggestion? Do you want me to send the origial flash file to [email protected] so they can check on the file and make some repair that will help us for future use?

hello!

unfortunately, we can not repair faulty firmware files.
you must find same working phone and read out backup
use it to restore your faulty set.
unfortunately, this is the only left way, if you tried all flash files from support

Hello,

Your file can not be used due to 2 reasons:
1. it was read from damaged phone, data inside firmware is damaged
2. this type of firmware should be read with Infinity-Box only, we can not create good flash file from backup that was made with other software.

Thanks for that info. I'll keep that in mind. So, I guess I'll stick with the first option. Wait for the same unit, create a back-up file and try it on the dead phone. Thanks again.

Here is fully working 16MB .BIN file of above mentioned phone.
http://www.4shared.com/file/11119086...08_MP_V27.html

Please convert it to Infinity-Box supported format and upload it to support site.
