Getek TK806 dual sim does'nt work - GSM-Forum

I live in TURKEY I bought a dual sim mobile phone from China Model: GETEK TK806 But Sim B is not activated. Sim A is OK. Now I use one sim card on Sim a slot. I tried it in China Both of Sim A and B were OK. Both of them were activated with my local(Turkey GSM operators) sim cards in Chine. What can I do Please help me I can't use two sim cards simultaniously. Does it need any software? I tried to find on the internet but I can't .When I connect the phone to PC it gives MT6227.

hello!

is it double MCU phone? Only double MCU phones can simulatiously hold 2 SIm cards in Air.
if it is 1 mcu phone- you can only switch between them

In phone settings there is line switching options. I tried it but I can't use the phone. on the screen for SIM B It writes emergency. I can see the phone book of the SIM B card but I can't recieved the signal of the operator. By the way on the screen Both of the SIM cards antenna's are seen. Is there a software problem. What must I do? please help me.

i cant see answer to my single question- is it duble MCU phone?
by your answer i just can guess that yes, it is double MCU phone.
Then problably second MCU part contain invalid for your country IMEI.
try to edit it and if not help then format FFS.
but i think that it is IMEI problem

I think it is single MCU phone because I found one IMEI number ( as you see I don't know too much thing about MCU either I think that you mentioned MCU for IMEI ) If not how can I understand whether a phone is double MCU or not.

Hello,

As I can see from your message you don't have Infinity-Box yet.
To activate (unlock) your phone and be able to use any sim card with it you need to visit www.infinity-box.com and buy Infinity-Box software.
After you have bought it you will be able to unlock your phone (of course, if your phone has MT62xx CPU inside).
How to unlock phone:
1. connect cable to phone
2. run Infinity-Box software
3. press "unlock" button

If you have more questiond please make "search" in this forum and you will find a lot of interesting information.

hello!

you can open your phone and check how many processors is there.
if it is single processor- this type phones can not hold both cards in air at the same time.
only 2 processor phones can hold both SIm cards in air at same time
