Question about the "COM" port on MT6225

Hi everybody on this forum.
I receive my infinity-box today. I'm starting with backup and reflash some chinese phones.

A lot of cables inside the package from my reseller, but neither of them worked.
I have a lot more from ipmart, but the same, neighter of them work.

Before start the process to find and build a custom cable, I'm trying with the original USB phone cable . I start connecting this cable (directly to my PC) and selecting "COM port" option on the phone, as showed in the following picture (from infinity-box)
http://www.infinity-box.biz/download...phone_menu.jpg

When I use the option "Read General information" on Chinese miracle application, I get the following:

Loading data, wait...
[Infinity Box] v2.36
S/N: ***x:***x
Wait...
Device: Autodetect 6205-6227 NOR
Done
COM1 ready <-------------------Note: COM1 is the USB-COM port
Action: read information
Model: Autodetect 6205-6227 NOR
Checking data, wait...
Phone should be Switched ON !
Connecting, wait...
Phone detected, wait...
Hardware version: MT6225, E03
Hardware version: ************
Software version: ************
Software date: ***x.xx.xx
Barcode: ************
imei: ***************
Finished, time used: 4 sec

so, It was wonderful!
but when I press the "Read detailed information" on chinese miracle software, I get this:

Power off phone now !
COM1 [USBSER000] selected
Device: Autodetect 6205-6227 NOR
Checking data, wait...
advanced flash detection enabled
eeprom backup enabled, it may takes several minutes !
Action: read/check detailed information
Boot...
Press and HOLD Power button now !
19200 fixed
Connecting, wait...
error: boot phase#1 failed
Release Power button now !
in case of initial connection problem: on/off "Boot baudrate autoselect" box.
Boot Fail
Finished, time used: 4 sec
Remove/Install battery now !

Similar messages when I try other options (read flash)

My question:
Can I read the firmware with this COM port?

Thank you very much in advance.
I'm considering the language editor.

hello!

you can only read General information via USB cable.
this is done by AT commands.
all other operations need to put phone to boot mode, which is only possible with serial cable.
so to start repair phones you must assemble cable.
