s520 still cannot be unlock with new flash files - GSM-Forum

pleasant evening infinty team!

thanks for the new flash files and updates.. however i would like to inform you that all new flash files of s520 with SIM FREE filenames still are not working... after flashing, phone still ask for NETWORK KEY....

hope to hear from you guys!!!

so strange... why is it that my s520 is still locked after flashing with the new flash files... i tried to format fs complete but still the same.. still asking for a network key...

Hello,

go to software "Settings" page and make "enhanced security fix" option DISABLED.
Flash phone again with simfree file.

I have this phone for repair and unlock. Phone ask network key for all SIM cards. Flashing with simfree firmware not help. Try flash firmware with UMC in end of name, phone accept UMC SIM, but after flash SIMfree again Ask for Key for all cards again...

Be sure that you have used simfree file.
make format ffs after unlock (if phone is still locked).

i am 100% sure that i tried all 3 simfree flash files from support site... and tired with format ffs after flashing but still no luck sir...

phone still asks for network key.... maybe this phone has a new protection or whatever.. i hope you can help me with my problem sir.

Hello,

To be honest I don;t think that any new type of S520 is exist.
I respect your time and your tries, but please, try to flash phone again with simfree file (do not change any options, use options that was sent in software by default). After flashing make \"format ffs\" in \"complete\" mode.
Let;s see results.
In case of any problems pls post here log text so we can check it.

Hello,

Did you tried to make 112/emergency call without sim card ?

Check back phone label, post here exact phone model name.
